Making slime is supposeto be easy and fun so today I want to show you how to make glitter slimewith NO BORAX. This easy kids slime recipe is great because it only requires 2 ingredients, yes that’s right only 2 ingredients.

How to Make Glitter Slime with Only 2 Ingredients
Ok so to make glitter slime you’ll literally need only 2 ingredients. I promise that’s it! This is such an easy slime recipe. It’s actually one of my favorite go-to slime recipes when I’m making slime for a crowd, for school functions, birthday parties, etc. The reason is that it requires no pre-prepping, no setting up, no mixing a slime activator. NOTHING. You literally mix these two simple ingredients together and BAM…you’ve got the easiest batch of slime you’llever make.

When it comes to making the best slime recipe, having the right supplies is essential. There is nothing worst than sitting down to do a craft and then you don’t have enough of the ingredients that you need to finish the project. And yes, I’ve learned this lesson the hard way and I won’t ever let that happen again. It stinks! I buy all my slime supplies from Amazon. For me, this is the easiest, least expensive option. Plus who wants to run to the store with 3 kids in tow. NOT ME!
The main ingredient for any slime recipe, including this glitter slime is glue which is in very big demand. It’s also hard to find, due to kids all over the country getting into the slime craze. But on Amazon I’ve never had an issue with gluebeing in stock and actually the gallon glue that I buy is about $4 cheaper than it is in stores.
With the glitter slime I use Elmers Glitter Glue. I like to buy several different colors at a time. On Amazon they have some beautiful and vibrant colors that I haven’t seen in stores, and yes I’ve looked.
Liquid Starch is thesecond ingredient you’re going to need to make glitter slime. Liquid starch can be found in the laundry aisle at your local store. But again, why go to the store when you can have it delivered to your front door for free.

Make Glitter Slime It’s SUPER EASY!
To make Glitter Slime I would recommend getting a big mixing bowl and old spoon to mix everything together. Also make sure that the surface that you are going to be making the slime on is covered. This just makes for an easy cleanup.
The first thing you are going to do is pour that entire bottle of Elmer’s glitter glue (which every color you choose) into a big bowl. Sometimes its hard for that last little bit to come out, so when this happens I just flip it upside down and let it sit for a few minutes. This isn’t something you have to do but I like to get every last drop of glue out that I can.
Next, SLOWLY pour in your liquid starch. You are only going to need about 1/4 cup TOTAL but you will want to add this in gradually to your glue. If you add it in too fast, then your slime will become hard.
Once your slime can no longer be mixed with a spoon then you are going to take it out of the bowl and knead it like you would bread dough. The slime is going to be very sticky at first and will stick to your hands. Don’t stop kneading. At this point you will also continue to add in small amounts of liquid starch. It’s hard to give you an exact measurement on how much liquid starch to use because some people like their slime more stiff and some people prefer it more runny. Just add in small amounts until you reach the consistency that YOU like.
