Top 10 Recipes of 2015 (2)

First, here are two tasty runner up recipes that almost made the Top 10!

#12 Honey Dijon Chicken Salad Pie

This is a fun take on chicken salad but baked in a pie shell and topped with cheese! Like a quiche, you just mix all the ingredients together and bake! It was a delicious, simple week night dinner for my family and a recipe I am sure I will create again and again.

#11 Rainbow Swirl Sugar Cookies

I created this Rainbow of Gratitude basket to give as a thank you gift to the Labor and Delivery and OB Nurses that were there for me when I had my daughters. It is inspired by all my friends who have had Rainbow Babies, which are babies born after a stillbirth or miscarriage.

#10Anniversary Skillet Steaks with Blue Cheese Butter and Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms

This is an impressive and delicious meal perfect for a special occasion like an anniversary! Cooked in a cast iron the Skillet Steaks are seared to the perfect temp and topped with Blue Cheese Butter and a side of Garlic Parmesan Mushrooms.

#9 Crock-Pot Rotisserie Style Chicken

I wanted to make a whole chicken for dinner but instead of roasting I decided I would just season it, toss it in the Crock-Pot, and let it cook in it’s own juices. The result was delish! The skin isn’t quite as crisp as a store bought Rotisserie but it was moist and tender and perfectly cooked.

#8 Cajun Shrimp Boil Grill Packs

We love having Shrimp Boils here in the South and since my hubby loves to grill we decided to make them on the grill. Perfect for the three of us and a lot less messy!

#7Paula Deen’s Twice Baked Shrimp Stuffed Potatoes

This potato recipe, from Ms Paula Deen herself, is rich and delicious and perfect for a holiday meal. Jumbo shrimp and lots of cheese make it over the top. I served these for Christmas dinner and they were devoured within minutes.

#6 Marsala Chicken, Mushroom, and Rice Casserole

This is a recipe I found a few years ago in Rachael Ray magazine and have since made numerous times because it’s easy to remember and is seriously that good. You can mix it up and add some veggies to it also. I like spinach or peas and serve a salad on the side.

#5 Homegating Chili Cheese Tater Tot Dip

This is the ultimate game day appetizer for all you hungry sports fans out there! I made this easy baked dip with Wolf Brand Chili, tater tots, and two types of cheeses. Serve it on your next Game Day!

#4 No Bake Haystack Cookies

These Haystack Cookies are a simple, sweet, and crunchy combo of butterscotch,

peanut butter, and chow mein noodles. I served them to my friends at my Cookie Exchange Party this Christmas.

# 3Overnight Eggs Benedict Casserole with Creamy Hollandaise

Casseroles are a favorite easy meal for my family, especially during the busy holidays.
This casserole is perfect for brunch because you prepare it all the night before and just bake it in the morning. The creamy Hollandaise sauce is one of my most used sauce recipes.
Add a little cayenne for heat.

#2 Bacon Wrapped Pineapple Stuffed Ribs

Every once in a while I create a dish that is so darn tasty that I make it twice in one week. This my friends is one of those dishes. I mean seriously?! Sweet, fresh pineapple stuffed with tender ribs and wrapped in crispy glazed bacon?!

and the #1 most popular recipe from the blog this year was….

#1 Duck Dynasty Mashed Potato Casserole

I posted this recipe on November 20 and in just over one month

it has become my most shared and clicked recipe ALL YEAR!

This casserole recipe by Ms Kay from Duck Dynasty is a guaranteed crowd pleaser and a delicious holiday side dish! Who doesn’t like the ultimate comfort food- creamy, warm mashed potatoes?!
